Pinocchio’s restaurant is a listed building situated in Walton-le-Dale Preston, the site from which Oliver Cromwell conducted the battle of Preston in 1648. When it was won he took a well-earned rest there to write his despatches at the inn.
Newly refurbished, Pinocchio’s is air conditioned throughout and boasts a light and spacious bar area while the open kitchen adds theatre to the dining experience.
The restaurant is modern in style boasting an eclectic mixture of design using materials such as marble and glass, which remain tastefully in keeping with the buildings traditional features such as the17th century iron and brass fireplace and the original wood beams.
No longer the centre of a battlefield Pinocchio’s has been family owned and run for over two decades now and is the perfect setting for a quick lunch or a long relaxing dining experience.

Menus
Pinocchio’s menu offers something for everyone featuring both classic Italian dishes such as our traditional hand rolled pizza, or modern Italian for example calves liver pan fried in balsamic vinegar with caramelised onions. The majority of produce used is hand picked and sourced directly from Italy but local produce is also incorporated in our menu with variations like the salami and black pudding bruschetta. Fresh seafood is also a speciality.
Wine List
Prices start from £11.50 for a bottle of quality house wine. We have some truly fantastic Italian wines available with the wine list featuring over 50 bins plus a good selection of magnums each one individually tasted and selected. Oenophile heaven.
